They gained a3rd placing in this event. Brooke Donoghue has just starting rowing a single and she also managed toplace 3rd in her B final. This was an awesome result. Our Under 15 team, consisting of captain Brittany Wallace, Toni-lee Stevens, Laura Baverstock, MaddyRowe and coxswain Jimmy Cleaver achieved an outstanding result. They proved that it doesn’t matterthat we come from a small rural school, if you are dedicated and committed to the sport, you canachieve success. This team competed in the Under 15 Coxed Quad and Under 15 Coxed Four. Theyplaced 2nd in both the heats and the semi-finals of the quad. This meant that they went on to the A finalson the Sunday where they were placed a close fourth. They also went through to the A final of theCoxed Four. This was an extremely exciting race and our team did us proud placing 2nd in the event. Itwas with great pride that the parents and supporter watched the team and their coach take the podiumto receive their silver medals.
