TKC Athletics

Our school Athletics are taking place on Friday 1 March.

Students need to make sure that they have a sunhat, sunscreen and plenty of water to drink on the day.

Parents and whanau are welcome to come along to this event. It will be held on the sports field at school.

SAFETY NOTICE

Parents - Please do not park opposite where the school buses stop when you pick up and drop off your children.  They are running out between the buses to cross the road which is very dangerous, particularly with all the trucks that go up and down Waerenga Road.

Students - Please take care crossing the road.  Find a safe place to cross that is well away from the school buses.  Remember your lessons from Ruben the Bear: Stop, Look, Listen!

Drivers - Please take note of the lower 40 kph speed limit at the start and end of the school day.  And remember the speed limit is 20 kph when passing school buses.  The police often monitor drivers' speed outside our school.

DOG BAN

Unfortunately, due to some irresponsible owners not clearing up after their dogs, we have to impose a ban on ALL dogs (apart from assistance dogs) on the school grounds.  There is a dog field on Mahi Road where they can be exercised off lead.
